For as long as anyone can remember there has been a corner shop at 139 Woolooware Road. It sold milk, bread, papers and the occasional emergency birthday candle. It did its job. But neighbourhoods have changed, and the way we shop has changed with them.
LOCOL is our answer. Not a bigger convenience store, but a different kind of place: a premium community market designed to be a daily destination. Fresh barista coffee from 6am. Daily essentials and local finds on timber shelves. An ATM, lotto and post services, community delivery and a rewards programme that gives cash back to the people who keep the lights on: locals.
What stays the same
The corner. The early start. The faces behind the counter who know your order. LOCOL keeps the things that made the corner store matter and upgrades everything else.
What changes
- Green glazed tiles, warm timber and big windows onto the street.
- Locol Coffee Company at the window: Coastal Roast espresso, dairy or oat.
- A curated range of daily essentials plus finds from local makers.
- Open daily, 6am to 10pm.
Come and say hello. The coffee is on.
