Last updated: 1 June 2026. This policy explains how Coffx Pty Ltd, trading as LOCOL ("we", "us"), handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you contact us, join LOCOL Rewards, apply for a job, register for the community programme or enquire about a partnership, we collect the details you give us: typically your name, email address, phone number, suburb and the content of your message. Our website records the IP address and browser details of requests for security purposes only.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and provide the service you asked for.
- To run LOCOL Rewards, including your cash back balance and member offers you have agreed to receive.
- To assess partnership enquiries and job applications.
- To protect the website from spam, abuse and attacks.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example email delivery and hosting), and only as needed. Our website may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a form was submitted by a person; Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to that check.
Storage and security
Information is stored on secured systems in Australia or with providers who apply equivalent protections. Enquiries and applications are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and to meet our legal obligations.
Your rights
You can ask for access to or correction of your personal information, or unsubscribe from member emails at any time, by emailing hello@locol.au. If you have a complaint about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, it will be configured to anonymise IP addresses.
